Default Reventon Pro PC Interface Software not connecting

When I start the software and then connect the ESC via the USB and program card.. the Message remains on the splash screen asking me to connect the ESC.

I have installed the device drivers.. and re-installed both again.. Still the same message.....

Anyone got experience with this ?

What message does it say on the PC and on the Program card?

Does the program card power up with the usb plugged in?

Software says

= Please connect to the ESC =

Card powers on when plugged in and says

SPEED PASSION
**REVENTON**

A solid amber light is on the ESC....

I have tried running it in admin.. no difference.

I had this same problem two weeks ago !

After a year out from racing, I downloaded the latest software from Speed Passion V24 onto my laptop.

Disconnected the fan and no batteries connected, plugged the LCD program card into the esc, then plugged the card into the laptop.
The laptop connected to the esc on the software, I tapped the Update Firmware, selected Mod2-V21 software, the progress bar got to approx 10% then the screen flashed up Update Failed.

So tried to reconnect and the laptop just keeps asking to connect to the esc.
Solid Amber light on esc, will not accept any input from the receiver either, just this solid amber light.

Basically flocked.

My esc is currently with Schumacher and I await to see if it can be repaired.
Fingers Crossed.

But would still like to know why ?

I have just installed it all onto my work laptop and tried it again.. and everything is working peachy.... Im guessing there is some kind of bug with the install on my desktop, that isnt cleaned away by a re-install..

I had this problem and it was as simple as the plug on the card to esc lead was the wrong way round into the program box,

I have now bought coloured leads to try and stop this,
