Default Boiling B5 wheels?

Anyone tried boiling B5 wheels?

I'm wanting to save the wheels and insert rather than the tyre. I know a lot seem to use acetone now to remove?

Boiling is fine if you want to save the tire and wheel but acetone is so much easier if you don't, just cut the tire off to the bead or split down middle remove insert and stick in acetone bath for a day or so.
