Anyone going to try the new Jconcepts pin down tyres

Just got them out the packets and glued and they do not feel too soft so think the duration should be good. Using the supplied inserts for now.
Remains to be seen how well they perform on Thursday. Gareth nice pic! Not quite sure why J-Concepts have called them swaggers, American pun I presume. |

Just worked out the directional characteristics of the Pin Downs. Pretty cool.

I am sure John will reply as well but I did not get on with them. The fronts are fine and I am happy to use them until they wear out but the rears did not suit the DMS carpet for me on a 22 3.0. Lacked the initial bite that mini pins give and cannot be pushed without sliding. I was immediately half a second faster on a 12 sec lap with brand new Schumacher yellow mini pin 1 compared with brand new JC Pink Pin Down.
There are consistent as they wear and do seem to last pretty well but I can't afford to leave half a second on the table |
