Exclamation

So, the final answer is that the new chassis is softer or more flexible?

Yeah....about that...... it will be changed tomorrow . Tamiya Inc originally called it reinforced, and then it was changed to high traction during production.

Hello,

There is a difference of weight between the 2 chassis - The hight traction is about 25g heavier than the standart one. But on the hands, the higt traction one seems to have less flex.

Didnt try on the track. Is someone have an idea of the differnec between the 2 chassis but on the track ?

Thank

I know someone who has been running the chassis here in the US on a med to high bite track and he said he didnt notice any real difference but is going to do some more testing.

hmm I'm a little stumped on this. I thought the whole idea of tamiya releasing this part as high traction was to be 'more' flexible for loose conditions. The heavier chassis would obviously be more 'plastic' than the orginal carbon composite hence the reason why its black. I might need an excuse to replace the chassis anyway as its getting worn lol

anyway, has anyone tested the high traction arms as well?

If so, it might make sense they put a slightly more forgiving chassis on the entry level car and release it as a tuning option for the higher-spec TRF201 ?

If it is stiffer than the TRF201 chassis though, that's my theory blown out of the water :P
and bump to this question

edit.........
NO, the dn01 chassis is the original 201x chassis and not the high traction one.
