Default CVA dust boots on your b44/.1/.2

Thought I'd share this. Its maybe been up before, but it seems like a good purchase.

They fit real tight and are very stretchy. I put a load of black grease in the cva, pushed the dust boot all the way upto the cva, turned the end of the dust boot inside out and pushed up as close as I could.

Then I cleaned the boot with kitchen roll and motor cleaner to remove any black grease. I put a tiny bit of thread lock on the outer of the cva to hold it tight. (maybe not neccessary/bad idea?) Then just folded it over. The finish looks good.

Part number is TD310023 team durango 410 option part. Should be good for invernational where the dust can wreak havok with them

Hi,

It's a 4-40 x 1/8 grub screw in the CVD / CVA.

Should be available in various on line sources.

you don't actually need the grub screw in there as the little collar will hold it all together with the advised drop of superglue

There is someone on ebay that sells these boots for the B4.1 / B4.2 B44.. too

I've been using them for 3years now, went through several though..
My CVAs are dust free. I only race on dirt.

Friend had them on his B44 too and the front ones come loose..
Seems like they touch the casterblocks.

It is pretty close on the front, but I used them at Robin Hood Raceway this weekend and they worked a treat. All good so far.
