Hi,
I have a Futaba T3PM Tx and a FrSky TFR4 Rx. Binds perfectly and the throttle works perfectly. Turn the steering and it works for a few seconds then the signal drops out and it goes to fail safe with the green light on steady and the red light flashing. I have tried an alternative servo - same thing. I swapped the Tx and Rx for other ones (Not FASST) and it worked perfectly, so ESC is fine. Voltage output is a steady 5.7v. Any ideas? JIMMY

It is almost certainly being caused by a voltage drop I had the same problem with my 3GR. It easy to solve just set up a capcitor like the following http://spektrumrc.com/Products/Defau...ProdID=SPM1600 if you have spare channel

I also have the same problem but with my 3GR. I even bought a OrangeRX R400F to see if I just got a faulty receiver, but I had the same problem. I tried putting a capacitor with the Frsky TFR4 but I lost signal as soon as I turned the car on...

Which servo? Is it a Savox or is it an analogue one? Both will give you trouble that the capacitor may not solve.
Have you set your Tx to HR mode? If not, that can also cause problems. HR mode will only work with a digital servo, and the FASST system doesn't like working in other Tx modes. Come back with more info and let's see if we can solve the issue. HTH ![]() |
