Default Aluminium spindles

Has anyone used these? Are they any use of do you just break a wishbone instead of the spindle?
Also why is the balljoint offset?

They are made by a company called a main racing in america, i had them on my xxx4 , but when they went onto the xx4 i started to break wishbones.

Tyreman, did you dremel the top level on these like the std ones?
