Default Yokomo BX inline Lipo conversion

Hi,

recently I've bought on ebay a Yoko BX, but I wasn't to happy with the saddle pack configuration, because I couldn't use the lipo packs from my turing cars. After a few meetings using some old nimh packs, I decided to get hands on and convert the BX chassi to lipo "inline".

After some study, and hard work, here it is.

Main modification was the central axle/slipper/spur, to eliminate the spring and nut that were used to set the slipper; now the slipper is tunned with the nut that previously was used to tune the central one way. Had to move the servo forward also, because of it's size.

Hope you like it.

Thks

Regards from Portugal

Looks good! really neat conversion. How adjustable is the slipper now?

It's not as good as the original, but pretty good, and it's easy to find the right "feel".
