My first was born on 29 Jan this year, brilliant experience, get involved with the birth as much as you can, I pulled him out----Mental!! Basically they got his head out then just told me what to do.
My mrs is due again on 13th June (my birthday!) i dont waste time lol!

Congrats fella, the only piece of advice I have for the next 7 months is to not be put off by second-hand stuff (with the exeption of car seats, cot matress and safety items), a good clean and its good as new, remember its only had a few months use! saves you a small fortune!

Hahaha i have 2 3-Dr Cars ;-) You can have a Mk4 Golf GTi for £3k

Thanks though peep's, getting excited now and yes the spare room will be decorated sharpish although we've agreed not to find out what sex it will be so the room will be a nice neutral colour still with a few F1 pictures around though

I've already got it ready, just need to get it put up - i was thinking maybe a Go Kart or maybe a nice new B4 would be good

When my Uncle and Aunt had their first Boy my Uncle walked out of the hospital and straight to the nearest Toy shop to buy a scalextric

I don't honestly think we will change to be honest, the Golf isn't too much of a problem as the seats go really far forward - and the Megane's pretty much the same! I think we'll cope anyway, may be a bit of a pain but not the end of the world only having 3 doors

If we do have to change i still quite like the idea of a Leon - maybe sell the Golf and get one to replace it?

It's the wife's car mate, i don't think she wants to sell it anyway really - certainly wouldn't let me do any deal on racing stuff anyway haha.

I couldnt cope getting the big baby seat in and out of the 3door- there wasnt enought room for me to squzze in and wrap the seat belt round the seat's base to lock it in tight - my brother had the same issue with his ST.

I got a leon- best thing ive ever bought, wish I had the newer engine but appart from that its brill for getting the kids in and out off with out looking like some other family cars

Congrats Nick, on your new arrival, when it comes! I got my missus a cat, to keep her amused, and away from the babies for the time being. Seems to work ;-)

Yeah been there and done that i'm afraid, the Cat has been good but only lasts so long i'm afraid

It's worked out pretty good timing wise, literally a year after being married she fell pregnant so i think it's about the right time for us
