Default What is this? a VINTAGE RC10 BODY

I found this at a local hobby shop. Did associated paint bodies from the factory? This one is sealed all around in the plastic but the label seems to be stapled twice.
Please post what this might be.

Thank you

Certainly looks like an RC10 shell.

Beautiful... you're lucky to have come across this one - are your running it??

I think I might just go ahead an paint up a new protech 6160 shell for the 'ole RC10 for the 2010 season... My original shell's getting a bit tired... But the history... argh - just can't do it!

The cracked and bruised red-and-white wonder I painted back in the 80s will do another season yet...

Cheers,
Ty

back in the day I never saw a pre painted one in the uk, but you never know over the water...

I think maybe it was painted for a shop, thus put back in the original bag, I used to spray shells for a shop, and once done they would be straight back in the bag and header card restapled

A member was nice enough to list a original associated catalog and it turns out this is a original factory item. The 6160x is still legible on the label, I don't think the bag is original though, after 30 years I think they changed it. I also found a kyosho Dash 3 body and radio box in the same store. Its truly amazing what this man still has on the wall.
