Default Cougar Race S1 or Pro CF?

Hi guys,

I was wondering what the main differences are between the two?! I can read, but the description about the shocks on the Schumacher site is a bit vague:

S1 Specification includes;
  • Tough S1 composite chassis and top deck with optimised flex.
  • Tough S1 composite shock towers.
  • Simplified shock design for ease of use.
  • S1 spec carbon chrome diff balls & thrust bearing
The difference in quality between CF and S1 is clear, but the "Simplified shock design for ease of use." is a bit vague... It's like as if Pro drivers don't like the idea of an easy-to-use shock...

Does anybody know what they mean with this simplified shock design (not-big-bores or Asso RTR like shocks...)

Thanks,
Michael

I would assume that they would be at least non-threaded...

Not big bore shocks as I asked Schumacher. As to what they are, I don't know.

Car is mint and has the stiff chassis on it etc. So prob going to order the shocks and the new rear wishbones as they are suppose to be pre drilled for alternative mounting.

gear box mounts are 4mm so im take it youll have to get them drilled and re threaded or buy them as well, sell the old one and get new

Already had the front one done by Neil at RW. Are all of them going to 4mm?

I'm on the fence at the moment, but leaning to selling my Cat SX for circa £150 without the stiff chassis

Yes, but the B4 is 7 years old. Out with the old and in with the new!
