Have been using the Ko Propo Esptrit lll for the last 12 months. Very good and touch wood very reliable.
Done 2 mods to it. Moved module areal to where the metal extendable one goes and put a 11.1v Lipo battery in.

If you have the 3VC, you could simply acquire a module system to go 2.4Ghz, which is best if you're fond of the handset.
Spektrum's module kit is the most obvious solution (cheaper than Futaba's own, especially RXs), though there are some others (I'm using the Assan futaba module in a Hitec CRX, which has small and cheap RX modules, works fine, apart from not allowing saving of settings when the module is plugged in...I just pop it out to save). A word of caution - the KO 2.4Ghz receivers are fearsomely expensive.

Ive got a snwa exzes plus, its very good and recievers seem cheap aswell which is a bonus.
I have had a 3vcs 2.4 aswell and the reciever lasted 10 mins then over heated so they sent another oe and same again so i swapped. and they did have the yellow dot on that im told means they have a higher heat grade?? Chris
