Default What motor/esc to use for my sc10

I just bought a new sc10 and need some advice on what motor and esc to use.

I was always partial to lrp and have x12 motors for my 4wd. Is a 10.5 lrp motor and ssx esc overkill?

I have run a 10.5T in the SC10 for a number of meetings and think it offers a good balance of speed and driveability....

Never going to be the fastest down the straight but that's not what short course is all about!

I'll be putting a Novak GTB and LRP Vector X11 8.5 in my 4WD short course when it arrives.

I decided on lrp stock spec 10.5, it seems as of thats the general standard that everone uses on short course. Traction might be a issue with anything faster.

Any advice on tunning the truck like oils or spring combos?

Thanks,
