Default Ledbury MCC club nights :) Wednesdays

Right folks after conversations with club members and others about Ledbury regular club nights we have decided to put the following together.

Ledbury will be hosting Club nights every other wednesday starting on the 11th May until August.

The events will be held on our astroturf track and will be open to either nitros or electrics of any scale upto 1/8th.

We require at least 8 to run it as a race meeting otherwise the track will just be used for timed practices.

The gates will be open from 6.30pm until around 9pm (dark)

Non members will be £6 and members £4

Club memberships are £20 and for that you also get free use of the track on a saturday.

The track will be layed out to suit 1/10th mainly but only astro used to safe the rest of the track wearing out.

We all hope you can make it to our great venue and if you require any more details please visit www.ledburymodelcarclub.moonfruit.com

Thanks Nathan LMCC

See you on Wednesday

One question mate, what wears best and still grips on your astro out of BB spikes and Schu mini spikes?

Depends on what you drive like Rog
I found Schumey Yellow spikes wore better, and were more stable and precise, however, they will need a row cutting off to get the best from them. Certainly brand new tyres will not be necessary (which is nice).

BBG were an okay all-rounder tyre, but better suited to when its a bit damp in the morning etc.

HTH

As Mark said roger.

Its a shame that we cant use minipins at regionals as i found yellow mini pins were by far the best choice on our astro
