Not sure what can be done .... I'll look at my car tomorrow and let you know if I work anything out.
May I ask why you want a rear ARB for the car? |

im racing indoors with rubber tires on carpet, and in the sweepers it rolls to a point where it just start slipping and cant come up with annother solution.. since almost everyone else drives b4's with rollbars in the rear i though that was the way to go.
i just have the stock kit without any other springs or so either.. i thought the rollbars from the stallion would fit but ive looked a little on it and it seems its to narrow. Next weekend im going to race on a carpet with very high traction too, seems like rollbars is the only way to go.. |

I;ve run my RB5 on carpet with very high grip rubber tyres on and not felt the need for an anti roll bar .... in fact I've tried to promote general roll to help transfer weight across the diagonals to aid corner exit steering.
Post up your general set-up for carpet and I'll try to do the same .... sure we can work it out for you!!! |

since i ran it first time indoors today i havnt had much time to test yet..
![]() front, shocks upper inner hole, outer on arms. 40wt serpent oil about 5mm downstops inside, camber, about 2degrees and toe about 0 silver springs upper arms, inner, inner hole if i remember right i set the bulkhead to 25degrees kickup back, shocks outer, outer holes about 6-7mm downstop, 35wt serpent oil silver springs upper arms middle, outer holes stock B4 wing, clears between the rearwheels, lowest mouting overall very low rideheight and i think everything else is stock.. battery 6 cell front position |

I just ordered new springs, light green, light yellow and dark yellow both front and rear.. just have to hope i get them before friday..

Sway bar mounted Asso silver (Asso bar bent to 45deg. - mounted on the rear right above the rear bulkhead and underneath the rear shock stay/wing holder using cable binders through the outside hole of the reardamper to fix - hole drilled on the rear of the suspension arm). This works with the genuine rear shock stay and small modifications but without hurting the shock stay.
Alternatively you can use a Tamiya DT02 sway bar set and mount it the same way as described If you have an Atomic Carbon or similar shock stay (it is important that the screws connecting the shock stay to the bulkhead are not sunk as with the genuine shock stay / or you will have to level out) you can use the upper or lower screws to fix the sway bar of an e.g. Cyclone Touring Car version sway bar mount on the battery side of the rear tower. Off course you will have to fit a bar on your own. Best working solution is of course # 3 |

thats an idea.. hmm just have to get hold of some materials to bend a wide enough bar then.. will look into it tomorrow..

so ive been a bit lazy.. but here is some pics :P
and dont mind the dust and crappy photos.. im not a cleaning maniac and no photomaster as jimmy ![]() i just switched the stock screws that hold the back tower to some with smaller heads and a spacer in the upper holes to get the swaybar mounts to be somewhat flat.. its the normal tf-5 stallion swaybar kit but with longer "arms" to connect it with the a-arms and normal ballcups. I think im gonna try to drill a hole in the upper ballcup to make it able to slide in and out for a stiffer setting. |

Well done erkan. I like that solution. Unluckily our carpet seaon ended last weekend - so enough time for me to prepare until next year

I used the cable binder version which of course was not so stable but kinda worked.
Anyway since it was a warm winter we are already planning to reopen outdoor season within the next 2 - 3 weeks ![]() |
