Default 4wd SCBs appearing

I've just picked up on at least two forthcoming 4wd Short Course Buggies, from HPI and Axial (the latter is officially announced):

I'm guessing they'll get raced mainly in the States, but they're definitely of interest to bashers here.

The frame body looks fantastic. Great for bashers and scale enthusiasts.

For racing, I don't really see where it fits. Although SC has false-started somewhat as a racing class in the UK, surely part of the appeal of the class is the enclosed bodies which give you the door-handle-to-door-handle style of racing (*) that you can't get away with with a buggy.

(*) Racing, not T-boning.
