I bought one of these for use at home and find it excellent. Needs the larger tip for motors and speedo connections, then it works really well.

ive got one of the lrp soldering irons and its the best out there it heats up to 400c in under 5 seconds, it is a bit pricey but you will never need to buy another iron again it comes with to two tips the bigger ones perfect for doing motors and speedo wire and the small tip is great for doing servo wires.
