Default BJ4 with insane spares/upgrades, close to WE

I'm in the U.S.

I got this last year, but don't like how it drives. I'm more of a drive from the front kind of guy. Traction is too low where I run.

This is a great race package with so many spares. Car is in great working order, has the usual scuffs and scratches, but nothing that will affect performance, and it did spend most of its life with an undertray on it.

Has all the upgrades from the WE except the chassis and center tranny bits. Has Losi threaded shocks. Just replaced steering post bearings, steering is nice and free, rebuilt diffs (heavy duty ones), tranny is nice and free, added B44 hexs that won’t strip wheels, new front bumper.

Has a ton of spares.

2 front one ways (I think there is a center one way in there too), 2 more hd diffs, 2 new in package cvds, 1 brand new bone, 4 cvds that are lightly used, 13 spare arms (a couple are Tamiya arms that can be sanded to fit the BJ4, they seem to be about double the strength of the stock arms), 2 front towers, 1 rear, a ton of diff rings, 2 new gearboxes, and a couple used ones that may or may not be stripped, 7 spurs, spindles/carriers/hubs, new diff gears, various silver aluminum bits (duplicates of some of the ones on the car), 3 steering racks, a few more small misc. things, and a cracked and glued chassis, that as a last resort would work.

Unpainted lexan: one body with window masks and liquid mask, one with nothing. 2 wings, scuffed for painting, one has liquid mask. 1 Undertray with mask.

Has a beater silver WE body, wing in picture, and beater under tray.

Free bump from a guy that also used to own a BJ4(WE). Looks like you were your own hobby shop with this car right? That's what I did...

I wouldn't mind going to England to run on their nice rolling tracks... The super-cross style tracks in the US are breaking my car!

tell you what, how about a straight swap?

you can have the weather thrown in for free too

I think I read on the BBC weather site that august 2008 has been one of the (if not the) wettest months since records began. this summer has been an absolute washout.

if you do come over to the UK, please remember to pack your wellies!

Haha, yea, I got a good deal on all the spares, and in like 20 runs, I managed to break just 1 arm, and nothing else. The car is bulletproof, even though I had a 5.5r and a top speed of 42mph.

I'm a fan of high traction and astroturf, but we have none of that here in the U.S., it's quite disappointing. So I'm going to get an X11 and astroturf my own backyard.

I noticed from all the race reports, all the cars are muddy in the pictures, lol. Where I live, it's been one of the driest years ever, or perhaps driest decades. It's rained maybe twice since new years. The only reason the whole place didn't burn down this year is because it did last year , the year before that, and the year before that (perhaps you guys heard about the Southern California wildfires? So big they were world-wide news...). I would love to get washed away in a flood about now, lol.
