WHEELS
Hi Y'all. Just got myself a Bj4we, second hand. It needs some new wheels and tyres. I want to know where I can get White dish type wheels for front and rear, part numbers etc would be handy also.
Many thanks in advance ME

Or B44 front wheels will fit, if you use the B44 hexes with them, due to the offset being different to the Losi wheels.

So the hex are not "B44 hexes" ? There are BJ4 ? I'm a bit confused here ?

Do you mean b44 hexes are thicker(=wider) ?

I bought a few sets of rears from this eBay listing and can confirm they work very well indeed on a BJ4 (non-WE). It was murder getting a set of new Schumacher yellow full-spikes on, but the fit was so tight, I didn't need to glue them (for polished wood with the odd scrap of carpet at the jumps).
Unfortunately, I was unable to find fronts to match, with that trader or anywhere |

The standard front hex's are Losi, to get JC Rulux or Proline B44 front wheels to fit you need to use the B44 hex's instead. If you just bolt JC/Proline wheels on with the Losi hex's the wheel will bind

My BJ4 hexes are made of alluminium, onto which rulux wheel are mounted, does that mean that I am doing something wrong here (I noticed if I screw them too strong, there is friction) ?
(BTW, I got the BJ4 second hand like that)

Sounds like you have the standard Losi hex's which are thinner than the B44 hex's. You can add some shims between the hex and the hub but the best solution is putting B44 hex's on

I purchased some B44 hex's. Perfect fit.
... but at the moment the Rulux Buggy Wheels are out of stock at the locale dealers here in Austria and Germany
