Default Custom carbon side plates on my Cougar

Hi folks!

Just finished my carbon mod on my Cougar. Made some side plates for the electrics so it will be easier to clean the car after a day on the race track. I am using the original screw holes in the chassi to mount the plates.

Cheers

Cool idea! What about the flex in the chassis?

Thanks, and you got a point there. I am using 1mm carbon (lot of flex) and the chassi is made of 2.5mm. I will also only mount the side plates with only one screw on each side (at the rear end). That solution will probably not interfere too much with the original flex. I have to wait until next week to try it out on the track though.

Okay, I have now tried this out on my local astro turf track and there where no difference in drive performance. Victory!
