I changed cars halfway through last season from a CR2. The CR2 just wasn't for me but its still a good car. I have found setups for the X6 are easyer to get and advice is a lot more available than with the CR2.
The X6 felt a little better to drive for me as a new start driver (again) so it has been a good choice. |

Tom, there is another recent thread on this site, "Convince Me To Buy An X - 6" where there is a ton of discussion about the car.

Not sure where you are racing Tom, but on most dirt outdoor tracks very little weight is added. It's the U.K. guys with their astro, grass, etc that use the weight. If that's you, I think the RudeBits and TrishBits kits are both good.

I found my X6 is better to drive on the slippy stuff with less weight in it. I had a brass plate under the speedo and two small weights under the battery and it was fine. At the players I had the same but with the brass front bulkhead and the cream shock tower weights.
One thing I have found is that I'm getting too much rear end grip so I ended up using an old flat wing to make the back end a little looser and the car was transformed.
