Default smaller spur on 410

Possibly a daft question but is there a way to fit a smaller spur to the 410 to buy a little extra clearance from speedo/radio, but still be able to mesh a smallish pinion to it. The reason I ask is I have tried it with an 81 tooth and the pinion won't mesh, unless I go to about 24 but then I'll be overgeared.

Cheers

to gain room surely you want a bigger spur to move the motor,

Unless you mean from the spur itself

No mate I mean smaller spur as I have very tight clearance between my esc and the spur (esc is large hobbywing one), with the receiver positioned tight in front of the speedo. So the wiring/terminals are about half a mm from the spur. I also like everything neat, but that's another issue. If I can't do this I will have to look at moving receiver under the propshaft.
