Track at home !
Hi all, I want to make a track in my field at home any tips on how to mark it out etc ?

Your easiest solution is go to your local fire station and see if they have any old hose they want rid of

Clay is always good to use for sculpting jumps. But dont forget about drainage.

Depend on what you want to build,simple grass track is quite easy fire hose as above, or if you have no luck land drainage pipe its about 65 for 100m roll make jumps with dirt or wood

How much hose / pipe do you think I will need

Depends how technical the track layout obviously.
On a 480m2 club night track (30x16) we use 25-28 15 metre hoses and on our larger 600m2 track 30-35 15 metre hoses. Like I say it all depends and our track had 3m wide straight and approximately 2.4 everywhere else. Hope that helps and not confuses Matt
