Can’t decide!! Futaba or sanwa
Hi , currently using a sanwa mt44 , had it since they came out and it’s been spot on , thinking of changing to a Futaba 4pv / 4px or 7px just for a change ( if I can get a good deal and stomach the price tag of a 4/7px , do you think I will see a benefit with changing brands ?

You will probably see a difference because the MT44 is not a direct competitor to the 4PX or 7PX. It would be more similar to the 4PV, all differences would probably be down to hold and feel. They are all mid to high end radios.
If you are invested in Sanwa why not go for the M12s or M17, they will be an upgrade for sure. The in hand feel between Futaba and Sanwa is very different with the 4PX Futaba being lighter and with softer controls than the M12s but just as effective. I have always owned Futaba as I prefer the feel but have tried a few Sanwas and they are great as well.

I really don't think you'll see any real difference. The Sanwa link is one of the best out there as is the Futaba. The top of the range radios have functions that you'll never use. If you're happy with the radio you have and it's working It's kinda pointless.
I use the MT44 at the moment and I don't use half of the features it has. |

Have a look at the Graupner X8e. I've got that radio and its the best radio I've had. Absolutely superb. Didn't want what the sheep have. Thought I'd go for something different. Never regreted my decision.
