Default Brca legal cells

Hey Guys,
Getting back into the off road scene, and was wondering bout cells.
I've been told that some cells are not legal in off road racing, but yet they are allowed in touring cars.
I was wondering does anyone have a link to the off road sections, and the cells that the off road brca allow

thanks
Chris

Thanks for the help Legend.
But I have one issue, I've got some orion sho cells. And they are different to the ones on the list, the coloured ring on the bottom. Is this going to mean I can't use mine!!!

Thats stupid!!!
I've been looking on the mirage site, and I see that the picture of these cells look exactly like the cells that I have bought.
The coloured case has nothing to do with the white, as shown on the brca list.
This is stupid if they are false advertising, so this mean I'm gonna have to folk out for some more cells, just because the case is a different colour.
Thats stupid!!!!

Where did you buy your cells? I'm sure if they have been bought in the UK then they will have come through Mirage and should be BRCA legal.

As someone posted earlier, if they are not on the list then they are not legal.

We were hoping to do some regionals later on in the year.

Its our own fault, we bought the cells from HK before finding this site and subsequently the BRCA list

All it means is that i now have some new club cells no problems !

For some reason, Mirage have pictured the "rest of the world" cell, while they are talking about the EU version.

The rest of world version, doesn't fit with BRCA or EFRA rules, so haven't been bought in. Although i have seen a few floating around as well - i know they have come from HK rather than via Mirage.

They are longer and have more capacity over the SHO EU.

I don't have a problem with the fact that not every cell can be made legal but i was under the impression that 4200mah means 4200 mah indicating the capacity ?

I think this is a harsh lesson of should of checked the list first, im sorry to say and sympathise.

What you do have is some cells which can be used for practice, and for club/regional. Look on the bright side, 3 packs of cells will do for a national as they recharge fine (im using EnerG's), and they should last ages and ages!

As i understand it, i dont think that we can even use these cells for regionals - only for club racing. They are v cheap from HK and we now have great club packs so all is not lost. Its best to find this stuff out now before getting to a BRCA meeting and becoming spectators !
