Centro C4.2 Battery strap screws
My sons has a Centro C4.2 that he loves and he is not the best using a allen driver to loosen or tighten the allen screws that hold down the battery strap. In fact at the moment he has lost one of the screws and we don't have a replacement.
Is it possible to replace the battery strap screws with thumb screws like the B5m? What size screws are they? Are they Metric or Imperial? |

The standard screws are 4-40 x 5/8 Imperial used with a metric M3 countersunk washer
You could use the B4/B44 thumb screw sets (AS1787) but at £7 a pair are a bit steep, given the value of the buggy. Might be worth putting a WANTED listing in the trade section for some, must be loads about. |

Or do what I did and replace the posts with ones that require an R clip?
I use 2 long R clips that each go through 2 posts - much quicker and less fiddly.
