Default vega 201 first run

hi all i had my first run out with my vega 201 this past weekend.
it was at the first round of the northeast regional.
the track was quite a strange surface as it was in a horse equestrian center so it was very very slippery, but it was the same for everyone.
this would be a good test for me, and the car as craig and wayne colinson turned up so this would give me an idea weather the vega was a change for the better.

for practice i went with dave church setup that he posted on here, but i found it a bit too loose for the surface.

throughout the day i tried to add rear end grip.
so i ended up with the following setup:
front 32.5wt losi no5 piston blue spring
no2 on tower / middle on wishbone
2mm under ball on steering knuckle / forward hole on inner steering
2mm under inner ball on camber link / inner hole on outside link

rear 27.5wt no4 piston red spring
middle hole tower / middle hole wishbone
inner most lower hole on tower / middle on rear kit hub
i took away all the antisquat just to give a little more rear end grip.
long wheelbase.
wishbones just below level.

qualy 5th finished 4th after getting jumped all over in the first corner, and coming out 9th.
i didn't check the split times so at the flag i was about 15 seconds behind craig (which most of us were)

in conclusion i found the car to have a lot of steering, and it jumped very flat, and consistent every lap.
i can't wait to get the car onto a track that i know.
so the car is a real improvment over the standard rear motor trf201.

You'd be surprised, there is still some flex in the chassis.
